If I read one more article about the Discovery Channel’s upcoming series Klondike and how the Klondike Gold Rush took place in Alaska, I’m going to lose it.

I think the internet, and the world for that matter, needs a history lesson.
You disappoint me, sir.
You could have veered away from anything incestuous between Cesare and Lucrezia, and put to rest what rumours there are (and rumours they undoubtedly are, folks, for nothing has ever been proven) and done some actual historical research, but you decided against that.
Ratings sure are great though, aren’t they? So are the crazy shippers. But you know what’s also great? History, and the art of being historically accurate. History is just as exciting on it’s own. For once I would like someone to just do their research and do things as they happen. Is that too much to ask?
No love,
Tea
TV shows/movies that are completely accurate are called documentaries and SHOtime doesn’t produce them.

Did I once use the word ‘completely’ in my rant? No. Maybe you should actually take note of my vocabulary choices before you comment.
Why the fuck do I think I can ever move out when I can’t even make food following a recipe without completely totaling the microwave to the point where it’s 100% unusable? I should just be a spinster living in my mother’s house forever. That’s all I’m capable of. /end rant

You know, there are a lot of rants on Tumblr about the men who don’t take women seriously if they show interest in comics or superheroes. Rants about how these men consider women to be inferior fans if they can’t rattle off every single detail about a character’s back story, or claim that these women are only dressing up as a certain character to get attention.
Yes, there are a lot of people out there like this, and a lot of rants to go along with them. However, as I’ve come to learn over the past few months as a woman liking superheroes working in a bookstore that sells a great deal of comics, not every comic-reading man is like that. This is an appreciation post for those of you who treat us as equals with a common interest.
Thank you for complementing me on my Batman or Deadpool or whatever shirt I happen to be wearing that day.
Thank you for asking me where I got it and telling me it’s cool, not because you’re trying to hit on me, but because you actually have the intent on ordering one for yourself.
Thank you for using it as a segway to talk to me about comic books.
Thank you for asking me what my favourite character is, and not treating our exchange as though it’s a pop quiz.
Thank you for carrying on an interesting conversation with me about something I love.
Thank you for searching me out on a completely different occasion simply to geek out about something we share a common interest in.
Thank you for treating me as an equal.
On behalf of women everywhere, thank you. Just thank you.
I’m sorry I can’t put this under a ‘Read more’ link because I’m on the inferior iOS app. What follows is an unpopular opinion so I expect to be bashed/ignored.
Read or scroll past.

Sure, some jokes on the Wiki are funny, but at the end of the day the Wiki is a place for people to read relevant info and learn more about the game, not for trolls to unleash the full potential of their bad sense of humour.
When I compare the CoD Wiki to my other interests’ like Fairy Tail and Final Fantasy, it sickens me to see how disorganised and stupid the CoD Wiki can get.
tl;dr: I’m part of the minority who is not amused by the trolls. If you’re actually contributing, shame on you.
One sentence to summarise everything: I am a wet blanket.
Peace.

My portfolio is just making so stressed out and deadlines, and I only have two days really per week to work on stuff and it seems like I have no good ideas anymore and everything I draw is not blah when I desperately need it to be good.

This is a rant. I’m not whining for pity. It was a rant.
Just letting everyone know that this is going to happen
it’s a Swan Princess Christmas special sequel made in CGI.
I don’t care if there’s going to be a Christmas special sequel, but what really bothers me is that they made it in CGI. It looks really ugly and ugh, why not keeping the 2D traditional animation? And Odette’s hair looks so wrong…
Here’s the trailer if you’re interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSiVZSfhZm4
Time to ruin childhoods.
I would just like to point out that Brian Nissen is in this movie. Although he wasn’t the original Derek, he voiced him in the 2nd and 3rd movies. Now he’s voicing the Chef. The Chef, everyone. The Chef. What is wrong with the world?

It’s okay that you forgot about our plans yesterday. Its okay that you forgot about the plans we rescheduled from yesterday to today. It’s okay you didn’t reply to my text asking where you were 3 and half hours after we were supposed to meet. It’s okay that you told me you’d text me when you got home but never did. It’s okay that we Skyped for like five minutes before you whined about being too tired, and it’s okay that you never apologized.
Yeah. It’s okay.
Fuck you.
